About the Samurai:
Sakamoto Ryoma is well known to be part of the overthrow of the Tokugawa Shogunate. He is also well known to have helped two rivaling provinces to come to peace through negotiation. Through that negotiation, he managed to pit those two provinces against the Bafuku, the government that supported the Tokugawa Shogunate. He would use an alias, due to the fact that he was hunted by those who supported the Bafuku, which included the Shinsengumi. He was later assassinated at an inn, and died due to fatal wounds.
