Inspired by Takeda Shingen

Takeda Shingen was a prominent daimyo during Japan's Sengoku period and leader of the powerful Takeda clan. Born in Kai Province, now part of Yamanashi Prefecture, he became known for his military campaigns and expansion into neighboring territories, particularly Shinano Province, now Nagano Prefecture.

Shingen is also famously associated with the Furinkazan motto, traditionally translated as “Wind, Forest, Fire, Mountain.” His reputation as a skilled military leader has made him one of the most recognizable figures of Japan's samurai era.

This katana pays tribute to that history through its Takeda Shingen-inspired design.
