Each samurai had their own specially made armor, and symbol to fly high on their flags while going into battle, as well as a katana to fight by their side. The Sengoku Samurai each have their own unique looking armor, that is tied to their name- no matter how many centuries have passed. These figures capture the beauty of the yoroi armor, as well as the flags and katana that these samurai fought along side with. Even on a much smaller scale these figures emulate the details and time that has gone into the making of the yoroi armor. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eAbout the Samurai: \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eBorn as the eldest son in the Kai Province, now known as the Yamanashi Prefecture, at a young age he overcame his Father, who was the leader of the Takeda clan, and became the leader instead of his younger brother who was planned to become to the heir to the Takeda clan rather than Shingen. Soon after taking control of the Takeda clan, he knew that he wanted to control the area around him, Shinano Province (modern-day Nagano Prefecture). Katanas are made by hand, and takes many many layers, allowing the blade to be light, yet strong, and dangerously sharp. Due to the samurai’s loss of power, the katana became less of a practical weapon, and was used more as decoration, and often a symbol. Our katanas are handcrafted in Seki, Japan, the capital of swordsmiths in Japan.
