About the Samurai:
Originally born into he Nagao clan, and after his Father's death, Kenshin dedicated his life to studying from age 7 to 14. At a young age, he was encouraged by others to try to overcome his brother's rule. He became the ruler of the Nagao clan, and due to him being adopted by Uesugi Norimasa as his heir, he managed to rule over both clans. Through his rule, he came into conflict with Takeda Shingen and Oda Nobunaga.
